Being human challenges all of us.  Becoming a conscious human, open to the full range of life and divinity is a superior task.  It requires courage, humor, patience and the help of others who are similarly called.

The work of discovery and healing that my clients and I are engaged in can best be described as “the process of becoming aliveness.”  Many tools support this process including dreams, art, memory writing, imaginal exploration, body exercises and Kabbalistic healings.

In sessions my desire is to be guided to the truth waiting to be revealed within the client.  A single dream or an experience can be the golden thread that leads us inward.  The poet William Stafford, believed that “Only the golden string knows where it is going, and the role for a writer or reader is one of following, not imposing.”  I believe the same is true when the healer has a deep trust in the process of healing and in the essential wholeness of the client.  Attuned to what is present in the moment in the client, in me, and in our relationship, we patiently follow the thread where it leads. 

The work of awakening is kind.  It is penetrating.  It is revealing.  Both the client and I become more of who we really are.  We become less defended.  As a result we are able to meet life’s challenges with more resiliency and courage.
